Process gas
The purification of process gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide involves the removal of various contaminants. NORIT® activated carbon is used to remove hydrocarbons/VOC, mercury, hydrogen sulfide, and other toxic gases.
Hydrogen sulfide removal needs activated carbon which either supports the oxidation of H2S to elemental sulfur or chemically adsorbs hydrogen sulfide by a dedicated impregnation recipe.
Pressure swing adsorption, regenerative systems for the production of high purity gases. Based on dedicated NORIT® products, high performance and optimal operation can be achieved.
A filter design with optimal contact, efficiency and pressure drop can be advised by our technical support engineers. Adsorption isotherms and experience from the field are used to determine the expected service life.
